Canada Balsam

The balsam is obtained by scratching the bark of the balsam fir (abies balsamea) which is native in the north of U.S.A. and Canada.

Canada Balsam is a clear and transparent, adhesive liquid which in its consistence reminds of thin honey.
Copaiba Balsam

The balsam is obtained by scratching the bark of different kinds of Copaiferas (mainly Copaifera reticulata) in Brazil.

It is a clear, yellow-brownish liquid similar to syrup with odd, balsamic odour.
Gurjun Balsam

The balsam is obtained by scratching the bark of different kinds of Dipterocarpi in different countries of South East Asia. (Main country of origin: Indonesia)

Balsam of Gurjun is relatively thickly, light yellow to black-brown liquid with balsamic odour
